Successful candidates will complete a comprehensive Train Driver Training Programme and develop full operational knowledge prior to qualification. With a salary scale reaching up to €69,000 per annum, this role combines responsibility, purpose, and career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate trains safely and efficiently across assigned routes
- Deliver punctual, customer-focused journeys
- Adhere strictly to operational rules, signalling systems and safety procedures
- Respond calmly and effectively during emergency situations
- Complete all required safety and operational documentation
- Participate fully in the Train Driver Training Programme
- Work various shift patterns including weekends and public holidays
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 9 years full-time education in line with European Train Driver Licensing requirements
- Must be over 20 years of age
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to remain calm in emergency situations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict rules and procedures
- Conscientious and safety-focused mindset
- Customer-focused with achievement orientation
