The Sláintecare Transformation and Innovation Office is seeking applications for the role of Grade VI Programme Support Officer within Technology & Transformation. Job Overview
This HSE Grade VI Programme Support Officer position is open to employees of the HSE, Tusla, Section 38 agencies, or statutory health agencies in line with WRC Agreement 161867. The role sits within the Sláintecare Transformation and Innovation Office under Technology & Transformation and supports the delivery of national healthcare transformation programmes.
The successful applicant will provide programme administration, reporting, financial coordination, stakeholder engagement, and operational support while working within strict deadlines and a highly collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative and programme support within the Sláintecare Transformation and Innovation Office.
- Engage professionally with senior management, team members, and internal and external stakeholders.
- Collate, analyse, and interpret large volumes of financial and non-financial data.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and briefing documents to support programme delivery.
- Support purchase-to-pay processes and work effectively with IFMS systems.
- Coordinate multiple competing priorities while meeting strict deadlines.
- Assist in monitoring programme activities, governance requirements, and operational performance.
- Work independently and proactively to ensure efficient delivery of assigned tasks and objectives.
Required Skills and Experience
- Significant experience working in a busy office environment delivering high-quality administrative support services.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience preparing reports, presentations, and analysing complex datasets.
- Excellent report writing skills including financial and non-financial reporting.
- Experience using IFMS systems and strong knowledge of purchase-to-pay processes.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and administrative systems.
