An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen for a Grade VII Data Analyst with the HSE West and North West region. This whole-time role offers a career-defining position for a data professional who wants to drive evidence-based decision-making across one of Ireland’s largest health regions, spanning counties Galway, Mayo, Roscommon, Sligo, Leitrim, Donegal, and Cavan.
The Role
The Grade VII Data Analyst will work within the Office of the Regional Director of Technology and Transformation, supporting the HSE West and North West region’s data and analytics function. The successful candidate will play a central role in developing and delivering robust data analysis to inform service planning, performance management, and operational improvement across the region’s health and social care services.
A panel may be formed from this campaign — WNWEH00004 — to fill current and future permanent and specified-purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration across the HSE West and North West region.
Location
There is currently one permanent whole-time vacancy available in the HSE West and North West region. The role may be based at any of the region’s main work sites, which include Galway, Ballinasloe, Roscommon, Castlebar, Sligo, Ballyshannon, and Letterkenny. The Data Analyst will operate across a region that serves a large and geographically diverse population, contributing to health service improvement at a strategic level.
Salary
€60,613 – €73,516 per annum (HSE Grade VII Clerical scale, 9-point scale, plus LSIs where applicable), based on the HSE Consolidated Salary Scales effective 1 February 2026. Long Service Increments of up to €78,795 per annum apply after the requisite service on the maximum point.
