Our Lady’s Hospital Navan is seeking an experienced and motivated Grade VII Scheduled Care Manager Navan to join its management team on a permanent wholetime basis. This is a senior leadership opportunity within scheduled care services, playing a critical role in operational oversight, service improvement, and patient flow management.

Working within HSE Dublin and North East, the successful candidate will contribute to the effective delivery of high-quality, patient-centred services across the hospital.

Job Overview

The Grade VII Scheduled Care Manager will oversee the coordination and optimisation of scheduled care services at Our Lady’s Hospital Navan. This role involves operational leadership, performance monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring compliance with HSE policies and national service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage scheduled care services to ensure efficient patient pathways and optimal use of resources.
  • Monitor service performance against KPIs and national targets.
  • Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to improve patient access and reduce waiting times.
  • Support service planning, reporting, and data analysis requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE governance, financial, and HR policies.
  • Contribute to strategic development initiatives within the hospital.
  • Manage staff performance, development, and workforce planning within the service area.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support service delivery objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Relevant third-level qualification in healthcare management, business administration, or related discipline.
  • Significant experience in healthcare operations or service management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven ability to analyse service performance data and implement improvements.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience working within public health service structures is desirable.
  • Understanding of HSE governance and operational frameworks.

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

  • Grade: Grade VII (Code 0582)
  • Salary Scale (1 August 2025): €58,252 – €70,011 (LSIs applicable)
  • Contract Type: Permanent Wholetime

Salary is aligned with the HSE Consolidated Salary Scales (1 August 2025) .
