A Healthcare Assistant vacancy is now available with Clarion Healthcare Limited at their residential support service in Mulberry Park, Sligo. The Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide direct support to a service user in a residential or placement setting, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care. Your work will make a meaningful difference to the daily life and wellbeing of the individual you support.
Responsibilities
- Provide practical and emotional support to a service user in a residential or placement setting.
- Liaise with social workers and members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
- Support the service user in engaging with meaningful and relevant social activities.
- Contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the service user’s individual care plan.
- Submit daily reports to the team leader, maintaining accurate and timely records.
Requirements
- Minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare, Childcare, or a relevant discipline.
- Full clean driving licence (preferred).
- Willingness to travel as required by the role.
- Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Sligo, County Sligo prior to commencement.
Location
This role is based at 22 Mulberry Park, Sligo, County Sligo. The position is fully on-site, supporting a service user within a community residential environment in Sligo town. Sligo is a vibrant regional centre in the north-west of Ireland, well connected by road and public transport.
Salary and Benefits
- €32,691.36 per annum.
- Permanent, full-time contract (39 hours per week).
- Flexitime arrangements available.
