Job Overview
Arch Health is hiring multiple Home Care Assistants and Healthcare Assistants to provide essential home support services throughout Sligo, Tobercurry, Ballymote, Ballintogher, Achonry, Gurteen, Ballinafad, Cregg, Collooney, Knockbeg, and surrounding areas. Successful candidates will support clients with personal care, mobility assistance, companionship, and day-to-day living activities while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
This flexible healthcare role offers full-time, part-time, permanent, fixed-term, and graduate opportunities with immediate interviews and onboarding available.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and continence support
- Assist clients with mobility and daily living activities
- Prepare meals and support nutrition and hydration needs
- Carry out light household duties including cleaning, laundry, and bed making
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Prompt medication in accordance with individual care plans
- Monitor client wellbeing and report concerns appropriately
- Record incidents and maintain accurate care documentation in line with company procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Full Irish driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential
- Fluent English and legal permission to work in Ireland is required
- Previous healthcare or care assistant experience is preferred
- QQI Level 5 Care Skills and Care of the Older Person is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and provide compassionate client-focused care
- Nursing students and candidates working toward QQI qualifications are encouraged to apply
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
- Competitive hourly pay from €15.20 to €20.00 per hour
- €20 per hour paid on Sundays
- Flexible working schedules with full-time and part-time opportunities
