Instructor Supervisor Galway

Corlann is seeking an experienced and motivated Instructor/Supervisor to join its team in Clarinbridge, Co. Galway. This permanent full-time role (78 hours per fortnight) offers the opportunity to support individuals in a structured, supportive workshop environment within the HSE West and North West region.

Job Overview

The Instructor/Supervisor will support service users in developing practical, social, and life skills within a workshop setting. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure a safe and inclusive environment, and promote independence and personal development for individuals availing of the service.

Key Responsibilities

Support and supervise service users in workshop and community-based activities
Develop individualised plans in line with organisational and care standards
Promote independence, skill development, and social inclusion
Ensure a safe, supportive, and person-centred environment
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Liaise with families, multidisciplinary teams, and external agencies
Comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and safeguarding standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

Relevant qualification in social care, healthcare, or a related field
Experience supporting individuals in a care or workshop setting
Strong organisational and supervisory skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Commitment to person-centred care principles
Eligibility to work in Ireland

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

This position is aligned with the Workshop Supervisor / Instructor Grade 6425 under public sector pay policy. Salary will be in accordance with the Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales (1 August 2025) .

Permanent Wholetime Contract
