The MultiTask Attendant role at Kanturk Community Hospital offers an opportunity to contribute directly to high-quality care within Older Persons Services. As part of the HSE South West region, you will support the day-to-day operational and care environment needs of residents in a busy community hospital setting.
This permanent position is suited to individuals who are reliable, patient-focused, and committed to maintaining a safe and supportive healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for residents and staff
- Support nursing and healthcare teams with non-clinical patient care duties
- Transport residents, equipment, and supplies as required
- Ensure infection prevention and control procedures are followed
- Participate in daily operational tasks within the hospital environment
- Contribute to a respectful and dignified care experience for older persons
- Comply with HSE policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare or care support environment is desirable
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient dignity and person-centred care
- Understanding of infection control and health & safety practices
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary is aligned with the HSE Attendant – Multi-Task 6015 pay scale under the Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales (1 August 2025) :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}.
