Sligo Leitrim Energy Agency is seeking an experienced Operations & Programme Administrator to support the coordination and delivery of energy retrofit and sustainability programmes across the North West. Job Overview
The Operations & Programme Administrator will support the day-to-day management of retrofit and energy upgrade programmes delivered by Sligo Leitrim Energy Agency. The role involves maintaining project documentation, coordinating communications, supporting financial administration, and assisting with operational reporting and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage administration activities across SEAI retrofit programmes and energy initiatives
- Coordinate communications with homeowners, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders
- Maintain accurate project records, SharePoint systems, and operational tracking tools
- Prepare and process contracts, grant documentation, and project files
- Monitor project deadlines, compliance requirements, and outstanding actions
- Support SEAI workbook administration and reporting activities
- Assist with scheduling technical assessments, surveys, and quality assurance visits
- Prepare operational reports, spreadsheets, and internal updates
- Provide support for procurement, invoicing, payroll, and financial administration tasks
- Assist with community presentations and PowerPoint preparation as required
- Deliver professional responses to client and stakeholder enquiries
- Support continuous improvement of internal systems and operational processes
- Provide general office administration and coordination support
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in administration, operations, or programme support
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team
- Professional, calm, and solutions-focused approach
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Authorisation to work in Ireland
- Ability to complete a six-month probationary period
Desirable experience includes knowledge of SEAI schemes, retrofit administration, accounts administration, procurement, payroll, CRM systems, project tracking tools, and experience using SAGE software.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary for this Operations & Programme Administrator role ranges from €33,000 to €38,000 per year depending on experience. This is a full-time permanent position with hybrid working available up to one day per week based on operational requirements.
