University Hospital Waterford (UHW) is recruiting a Pharmaceutical Technician (Teicneoir Cógaisíochta) on a permanent, whole-time basis. This is an open competition (reference 26UHWA1606), open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants. A supplementary panel may be formed from this campaign, from which future permanent and specified purpose whole-time and part-time vacancies for Pharmaceutical Technician at UHW may be filled.

Salary
This post is remunerated in accordance with the HSE Consolidated Pay Scales effective 1 June 2026 (DoH Circular 2/2026). The Pharmaceutical Technician (Grade 3212) scale is as follows:
€42,415 – €44,808 – €46,439 – €47,503 – €48,568 – €49,631 – €50,695 – €51,767 – €52,848 – €53,952
This is a 10-point incremental scale. No Long Service Increments (LSIs) apply to this grade.
