Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced clinical pharmacy services to designated hospital areas.
- Lead and support safe and effective medicines management practices.
- Collaborate with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
- Deliver specialist advice on complex medication regimens and therapeutic protocols.
- Contribute to policy development, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff and students as required.
- Ensure compliance with national guidelines, legislation, and HSE standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Be registered, or eligible for registration, as a Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
- Significant post-qualification clinical pharmacy experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in specialist pharmacy practice within a hospital setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Experience in multidisciplinary teamwork and service development.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
