Job Overview

The Principal Clinical Psychologist Dublin post provides senior clinical leadership within CAMHS at Linn Dara. The successful candidate will bring extensive expertise in child development and child mental health, supporting service excellence and driving integrated care delivery across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide senior clinical leadership within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
  • Demonstrate depth and breadth of professional knowledge in general and specialist areas of child mental health and child development.
  • Lead the development of high-quality, integrated, accountable and efficient mental health services.
  • Support and develop cohesive multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure evidence-based clinical practice and service innovation.
  • Promote strong inter-agency collaboration and service integration.
  • Maintain the highest standards of governance, clinical supervision and professional practice.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Recognised qualification in Clinical Psychology with eligibility for relevant professional registration.
  • Significant post-qualification experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
  • Demonstrated expertise in child development and specialist mental health interventions.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong competencies in service planning, development and governance.
  • Access to appropriate transport to fulfil the requirements of the role.
