About the Role
As a QA Inspector at Amcor Flexibles Sligo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality excellence while working closely with our production and quality teams. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you’ll support quality assurance tasks alongside Shift Team Leaders in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct first-off, in-process, and final inspection and testing of products to ensure compliance with customer specifications
- Monitor quality standards throughout the production process and alert Quality personnel of any deviations
- Support resolution of quality-related issues working collaboratively with production teams
- Perform quality assurance responsibilities within operations teams to maintain high standards
- Maintain work areas in clean and orderly condition following good housekeeping practices
- Collaborate effectively with production and quality teams to achieve operational excellence
- Complete additional duties as requested by Shift Team Leaders and Management
Required Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Strong technical ability and aptitude with quality-focused skills
- Advanced computer knowledge, particularly MS Word and Excel proficiency
- Excellent attendance and time management capabilities
- Work authorization for Ireland (required)
- Ability to reliably commute to Sligo or relocate before starting work
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a quality assurance role or position involving significant quality tasks
- Knowledge of problem-solving tools and methodologies
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in manufacturing settings
- Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures
