About the Role
Join our dynamic HR team as Recruitment Team Lead (Grade VI) where you’ll play a crucial role in attracting and selecting top talent for healthcare services across the West and North West region. Based in our modern facilities at Cleveragh Business Park, Sligo, you’ll lead recruitment initiatives that directly impact healthcare delivery in your local communities while advancing your career in healthcare management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage recruitment processes for healthcare positions across Sligo, Leitrim, and West Cavan Community Healthcare areas
- Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to meet organizational staffing needs and service delivery requirements
- Supervise and mentor recruitment team members while ensuring compliance with HSE policies and employment legislation
- Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to identify staffing requirements and create effective job specifications
- Manage recruitment campaigns from advertising through to onboarding, ensuring efficient and fair selection processes
- Monitor recruitment metrics and prepare regular reports on hiring activity, candidate quality, and process improvements
- Build relationships with educational institutions, professional bodies, and recruitment agencies to develop talent pipelines for healthcare roles
Required Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Third-level qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years progressive experience in recruitment, preferably within healthcare or public sector environment
- Demonstrated leadership experience with proven ability to manage teams and drive recruitment outcomes
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment legislation, recruitment best practices, and equal opportunity principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional qualification in Human Resources (CIPD or equivalent)
- Previous experience working within HSE, healthcare sector, or public service organizations
- Knowledge of healthcare recruitment challenges and specialized staffing requirements
- Experience with recruitment management systems and applicant tracking software
