Job Overview
The Senior Architect will work within the Housing Capital Department, reporting to the Director of Services. The role involves leading project delivery, managing teams, and ensuring successful execution of housing and development programmes aligned with national targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop staff within the Housing Capital Department
- Deliver housing capital projects across all stages of development
- Ensure projects meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements
- Provide architectural advice to the Council on key developments
- Drive innovation and modern design solutions in all projects
- Oversee programme delivery aligned with national housing targets
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Architecture
- Significant senior-level experience in architectural project delivery
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience in public sector or large-scale development projects desirable
- Knowledge of housing capital programmes and planning frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
- Salary: €92,770 – €110,997 (including Long Service Increments)
- Working hours: Minimum 35 hours per week
- Annual leave: 30 days
