About the Role
HSE Dublin and South East is seeking applications for the position of Senior Dietitian – Paediatrics based at St. Luke’s General Hospital, Kilkenny.
The successful candidate will provide specialist paediatric dietetic services as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, supporting the nutritional assessment, treatment and ongoing management of infants, children and young people. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care within a busy acute hospital setting.
Eligibility
Please note that this competition is restricted to employees of the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, or statutory health agencies in accordance with WRC Agreement 161867.
Applicants must satisfy all eligibility criteria outlined by the HSE and demonstrate the required qualifications, professional registration and experience relevant to a Senior Dietitian post.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist paediatric dietetic assessment and intervention.
- Develop and implement evidence-based nutritional care plans.
- Work collaboratively with consultants, nursing staff and allied health professionals.
- Support service development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and professional standards.
- Provide education and guidance to patients, families and healthcare colleagues.
