Job Overview

The Senior Genetic Counsellor will provide specialist counselling, education, and support to patients and families attending the Clinical Genetics service at Children’s Health Ireland. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist genetic counselling services to patients and families attending the Clinical Genetics department.

  • Strong interpersonal, counselling, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
  • Excellent organisational and case management abilities.
  • Commitment to patient-centred care and ethical clinical practice.
  • Experience supporting families and patients through complex healthcare decisions is highly desirable.
