This Senior Occupational Therapist Meath opportunity offers a rewarding permanent part-time role within Disability Services in Navan. Working 30 hours per week, you will support individuals with disabilities to achieve greater independence, participation, and quality of life.
This position is advertised by the HSE on behalf of Prosper Fingal Company Limited by Guarantee. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role within a multidisciplinary team in the HSE Dublin and North East region.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for individuals with disabilities.
- Develop and implement person-centred therapy plans to maximise independence and participation.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to junior staff and students where required.
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to professional standards.
- Engage with families, carers, and relevant stakeholders to support holistic care planning.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with CORU as an Occupational Therapist.
- Minimum relevant experience appropriate to Senior grade level.
- Experience working in Disability Services is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Full driving licence and access to transport may be required.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
In line with public sector pay policy, salary will be aligned to the Occupational Therapist – Senior (Grade 3301) scale under the Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales (1 August 2025) .
- Permanent Part-Time Contract – 30 hours per week.
