Job Overview

The Senior Physiotherapist Naas role offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic General Medicine and Rehabilitation team within the HSE Dublin and Midlands region. Based in Naas, Co. Kildare, this permanent wholetime post focuses on the assessment and treatment of older persons and patients with complex rehabilitation needs.

This position is ideal for an experienced physiotherapist with a strong background in adult acute or rehabilitation hospital settings who is passionate about supporting older persons and frailty services.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and treat older persons within General Medicine and Rehabilitation services.
Manage patients with complex rehabilitation needs during and following prolonged hospital admission.
Develop and implement individualised physiotherapy treatment plans.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with HSE standards.
Contribute to service development initiatives within frailty and rehabilitation services.
Participate in quality improvement and clinical governance activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Registration as a Physiotherapist with CORU.
Minimum of 6 months’ clinical experience working with older persons in an Adult Acute Hospital or Rehabilitation Hospital setting.
Proven experience in assessing and treating patients with complex rehabilitation needs.
Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development relevant to older persons and frailty.
Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and teamwork skills.
