Job Overview

Autism Initiatives Ireland is currently recruiting a Social Care Worker Dublin role for its disability services in Stillorgan. This is a permanent wholetime opportunity supporting individuals with autism and complex needs in a person-centred environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and promoting independence, inclusion, and wellbeing for the people supported.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver person-centred support in line with individual Personal Care Plans (PCPs) and care plans
Promote the rights, dignity, and independence of individuals with autism
Support individuals with complex needs in daily living activities
Implement and review support plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with current legislation
Work effectively on your own initiative and as part of a team
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and HIQA standards
Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive living environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

Full QQI Level 7 Award in Social Care or Applied Social Care/Studies/Practice at degree level (or relevant Schedule 3 qualification as listed on the CORU website)
Minimum 6 months recent experience working as a Social Care Worker supporting people with complex needs
Registration with CORU as a Social Care Worker or proof of application
Proven knowledge of current legislation and regulations relating to the Social Care sector
Strong understanding of the needs and rights of individuals with autism
Experience implementing and developing support plans and PCPs
Fluent English and excellent communication skills
Full, clean driver’s licence (essential)
