Job Overview

Autism Initiatives Ireland is currently recruiting a Social Care Worker Dublin role for its disability services in Stillorgan. This is a permanent wholetime opportunity supporting individuals with autism and complex needs in a person-centred environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and promoting independence, inclusion, and wellbeing for the people supported.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver person-centred support in line with individual Personal Care Plans (PCPs) and care plans
  • Promote the rights, dignity, and independence of individuals with autism
  • Support individuals with complex needs in daily living activities
  • Implement and review support plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with current legislation
  • Work effectively on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and HIQA standards
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive living environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Full QQI Level 7 Award in Social Care or Applied Social Care/Studies/Practice at degree level (or relevant Schedule 3 qualification as listed on the CORU website)
  • Minimum 6 months recent experience working as a Social Care Worker supporting people with complex needs
  • Registration with CORU as a Social Care Worker or proof of application
  • Proven knowledge of current legislation and regulations relating to the Social Care sector
  • Strong understanding of the needs and rights of individuals with autism
  • Experience implementing and developing support plans and PCPs
  • Fluent English and excellent communication skills
  • Full, clean driver’s licence (essential)
