Speech and Language Therapist Tallaght

Autism Initiatives Ireland is seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist Tallaght professional to join its adult disability services team. This fixed-term, part-time position offers the opportunity to support adults with autism and other disabilities while working within a collaborative clinical environment across Leinster.

This is a rewarding role for an experienced therapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and supporting individuals to achieve their communication potential.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake comprehensive competency and communication assessments for individuals supported.
Develop and implement individualised speech and language therapy programmes.
Provide specialist input within adult disability services, particularly autism supports.
Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports.
Ensure high-quality standards and best practice guidelines are consistently applied.
Travel to services across Leinster as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Recognised Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
Minimum of 2 years post graduate experience as a Speech and Language Therapist.
Current registration with CORU as a Speech and Language Therapist.
Registration with IASLT (desirable).
Experience working in adult disability services, particularly autism.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team.
Full, clean Irish driving licence with access to a vehicle and business insurance (minimum 2 years; aged 23+ for insurance purposes).

Location & Employer Information

This role is based in Tallaght, Co. Dublin within the HSE Dublin and South East region. The successful Speech and Language Therapist Tallaght candidate will be employed by Autism Initiatives Ireland Company Limited by Guarantee, a publicly funded Section 39 organisation delivering specialist supports to individuals with autism and associated needs.
