The Central Remedial Clinic is seeking dedicated Staff Grade Psychologists to join its Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNTs) across Dublin. Job Overview
The CRC Children’s Disability Network Teams provide specialist interdisciplinary supports for children with complex developmental needs. These services operate under the Progressing Disability Services model and focus on family-centred practice, collaboration, and evidence-based intervention.
Positions are available across multiple Dublin CDNT locations including Balbriggan, Clondalkin, Clontarf, and Swords. The Central Remedial Clinic is currently undergoing organisational transformation in partnership with the Virginia Mason Institute, offering psychologists the opportunity to contribute to forward-thinking healthcare improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychological assessment and intervention services for children with complex developmental needs
- Complete standardised cognitive assessments and clinical evaluations
- Work collaboratively within interdisciplinary Children’s Disability Network Teams
- Support family-centred care planning and intervention delivery
- Prepare high-quality clinical reports and documentation
- Contribute to Assessment of Need processes where required
- Participate in service development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain professional standards and evidence-based practice in line with organisational policies
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A University Degree or Diploma with first or second class honours where Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours achieved in that subject
- A recognised postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Educational Psychology
- Minimum one year post-qualification experience working with children with disabilities
- Experience completing standardised cognitive assessments with children
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Strong initiative, organisation, and time management abilities
- Ability to work flexibly within multidisciplinary teams
Desirable experience includes working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, and Assessment of Need processes. A full driving licence and access to a car would be advantageous.
Salary, Benefits and Working Hours
- Salary Scale: €62,596 – €107,162
- Permanent whole-time and part-time opportunities available
