Staff Nurse Disability Service Galway

Corlann Ireland is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse / Enhanced Nurse to join its Disability Service in Clarinbridge, Co. Galway. This Staff Nurse Disability Service Galway opportunity offers a permanent part-time contract (60 hours per fortnight) supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in a community-focused environment.

This role is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants and provides the opportunity to deliver person-centred, high-quality nursing care within a publicly funded Section 38 organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Support residents in achieving maximum independence and quality of life.
Develop, implement and review individualised care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Administer medications and monitor clinical needs in line with professional guidelines.
Promote safeguarding, health and wellbeing at all times.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with HIQA standards.
Work collaboratively with families, carers and allied health professionals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Recognised nursing qualification (General, Intellectual Disability or relevant discipline).
Experience working in disability services or intellectual disability settings is desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

Grade: Staff Nurse – General (2135).
Contract Type: Permanent Part-Time.
