Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in line with best clinical practice.
Respond effectively to emergency situations and prioritise care appropriately.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with HSE policies.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
Adhere to infection prevention, health and safety, and safeguarding procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Registered as a General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Relevant clinical experience in an acute or emergency setting is desirable.
Strong assessment, decision-making and prioritisation skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy emergency environment.
Commitment to continuous professional development.

Salary aligned with the HSE Staff Nurse (General) Grade 2135 pay scale.
