- A panel may also be formed for future permanent and specified purpose vacancies across Dublin Midlands including Westmeath, Wicklow, Offaly, Longford, Laois, Kildare, Dublin South, and surrounding areas
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to individuals accessing addiction and recovery services
- Support service users through assessment, treatment planning, care delivery, and health promotion initiatives
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams across community addiction services
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with HSE governance standards
- Promote patient dignity, confidentiality, and person-centred care at all times
- Participate in clinical reviews, case management discussions, and ongoing service development
- Support harm reduction strategies, relapse prevention, and rehabilitation pathways
- Contribute to safe medication management and clinical best practice standards
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Be registered in the General Division of the Register of Nurses maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Demonstrate strong clinical nursing skills and patient-focused care delivery
- Experience or interest in addiction services, mental health, or community healthcare is desirable
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary environments
- Strong organisational skills and commitment to professional development
- Knowledge of HSE policies, safeguarding, and clinical governance standards
