Brothers of Charity Services Ireland, a leading provider of disability services, is seeking an experienced Team Leader for our Clarinbridge services in County Galway. This is a specified purpose full-time position offering 78-75 hours per fortnight with excellent career development opportunities in healthcare leadership.

About the Role

Join our dedicated team as Team Leader Disability Services, where you’ll provide clinical leadership and management oversight in our Clarinbridge area services. This Clinical Nurse Manager 1 position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while advancing your healthcare management career in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team providing person-centered disability services
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality care and support services in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for service users
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to nursing and care staff
  • Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
  • Manage service delivery budgets and resources effectively
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting systems

Required Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Registration with NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland)
  • Minimum 3 years post-registration experience in disability or related healthcare services
  • Experience in team leadership or supervisory roles
  • Strong knowledge of disability services regulations and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Clinical Nurse Manager or similar leadership role
  • Post-graduate qualification in management, leadership, or disability studies
  • Experience with person-centered planning approaches
  • Knowledge of HIQA standards and compliance requirements
