Technical Services Officer — Central Remedial Clinic, Clontarf
About the Role
The Technical Services Officer is responsible for managing the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of CRC premises across all 17 locations. The postholder ensures that buildings, equipment, and associated services meet statutory standards, regulatory requirements, and operational needs, while continuously driving improvements in safety, maintenance, and service delivery. The role is critical to enabling high-quality disability and rehabilitation services by keeping all CRC environments functional, safe, and fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance programmes across all CRC sites
- Supporting and managing minor works and capital projects
- Implementing robust health, safety, and risk-management practices organisation-wide
- Managing contractors, service providers, and internal maintenance teams
- Procuring goods, works, and services in compliance with public procurement requirements
- Ensuring all CRC environments meet statutory, regulatory, and operational standards
- Driving continuous improvement in estate management, safety performance, and service delivery
Requirements

Salary
€60,859 – €83,350 per annum (Technical Services Officer, Senior Assistant scale — grade 555T — 12-point scale, plus Long Service Increments of €84,595 where applicable). The CRC applies HSE-aligned salary scales. Figures are based on the HSE Consolidated Salary Scales effective 1 June 2026.
Location
The role is based at the Central Remedial Clinic’s main facility in Clontarf, Dublin, with responsibility extending across all 17 CRC premises. The CRC is located on the northside of Dublin city, providing specialist disability and rehabilitation services to children and adults across Ireland.
