Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to department managers and clinical teams
  • Coordinate administrative processes and ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures
  • Assist in budget monitoring and financial administration for assigned departments
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation for management review
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication
  • Support staff scheduling and resource allocation activities
  • Maintain accurate records and databases in accordance with data protection requirements

Required Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Current employment with HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, or statutory health agencies (per WRC Agreement 161867)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ administrative experience in a healthcare or public service environment
  • Strong knowledge of HSE administrative procedures and public sector regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Understanding of confidentiality requirements in healthcare settings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Third-level qualification in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
  • Previous experience in hospital administration or healthcare management
  • Knowledge of financial administration and budget management
  • Experience with staff scheduling and resource coordination
