About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician Sligo professional, you’ll work as an integral member of our pharmacy team, supporting our pharmacist in all dispensary operations while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and pharmaceutical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the pharmacist in all dispensary processes and medication preparation
- Manage blister packing services and coordinate phased dispensing programs
- Assist with PCRS (Primary Care Reimbursement Service) claims processing
- Help organize and coordinate specialist pharmacy services for patients
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and healthcare guidance
- Manage ordering systems and maintain comprehensive stock management
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Pharmacy Technician qualification OR significant community pharmacy dispensary experience
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical processes and medication management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Knowledge of PCRS systems and healthcare regulations preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous community pharmacy experience in Ireland
