Grade IV Human Resource Officer – Recruitment – Dublin North | HSE

We are seeking a dedicated Grade IV Human Resource Officer to join our recruitment team at Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown in Dublin North, supporting our mission to provide world-class healthcare services.

About the Role

This permanent wholetime position offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive administrative support to the recruitment function within Connolly Hospital’s Human Resource Department. You will play a vital role in supporting the execution of Connolly Hospital and the Dublin North and East Region’s Recruitment Strategy, helping us attract and secure top talent for critical healthcare positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment processes from job posting through to candidate onboarding for various healthcare positions
  • Manage recruitment administration including scheduling interviews, processing applications, and maintaining candidate databases
  • Support recruitment strategy implementation across Connolly Hospital and Dublin North and East Region
  • Facilitate communication between hiring managers, candidates, and HR recruitment team members
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and generate reports on recruitment metrics and outcomes
  • Assist with recruitment events and job fairs to promote HSE employment opportunities
  • Process employment documentation and ensure compliance with HSE recruitment policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent educational qualification
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in administrative roles, preferably in recruitment or HR environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal for candidate and stakeholder interaction
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems
  • Understanding of recruitment processes and employment legislation
  • Attention to detail for accurate processing of sensitive recruitment information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Third level qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Previous experience in healthcare recruitment or public sector employment
  • Knowledge of HSE recruitment procedures and healthcare staffing requirements
  • CIPD membership or working towards HR qualification
