IT Project Administrator – Industrial Technology – Galway | Production Equipment Unlimited Company

Production Equipment UC, a leading European industrial distributor supplying over 80,000 products, is seeking a skilled IT Project Administrator to join its IT and Technology Division in Galway. This is a permanent, full-time role ideal for candidates with strong technical and coordination skills, particularly within industrial vending and hardware deployment projects.

About the Role

The IT Project Administrator will support the planning, coordination, and execution of IT projects across customer sites and internal systems. You’ll act as a key link between customers, technical teams, and third-party vendors—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to high technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support IT project delivery, especially industrial vending system deployments.
  • Translate customer requirements into actionable technical specifications.
  • Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables using tools like Jira or MS Project.
  • Assist with hardware/software setup, configuration, and testing.
  • Prepare documentation for project steps, technical issues, and post-implementation reports.
  • Maintain communication with all stakeholders to ensure visibility and alignment.
  • Provide post-go-live support, including training and troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, IT, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in IT project coordination, systems administration, or support.
  • Strong understanding of networking, hardware, and software deployment.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with industrial vending systems or related automation technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies and tools such as Trello or Jira.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer-site projects.
