About the Role
The Grade V Public Health Administrator will provide management and administrative support to the Public Health service, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient service delivery. The role may be based in Dr. Steevens’ Hospital, Dublin 8 or Kells Business Park, Co. Meath—to be agreed with the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage administrative processes supporting public health teams.
- Maintain accurate records, correspondence, and reporting systems.
- Liaise with regional management, clinicians, and external partners.
- Support planning, performance, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to project management, HR, and finance-related functions as required.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, policies, and data governance.
Required Qualifications
Essential
- Relevant qualification or significant administrative experience in a healthcare or public-sector setting.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred
- Experience in public health or HSE operations.
- Knowledge of HSE administrative frameworks and reporting requirements.
What We Offer
- Salary (as per HSE Consolidated Pay Scales, effective 1 August 2025):
Grade V (0566) scale: €46,845 – €56,091 per annum (including 1% increase, DoH Circular 6/2025). - Contract: Permanent, Whole-time.
