Join the Health Service Executive (HSE) South West team at St Raphael’s Adult Intellectual Community Disability Services in Youghal, Co. Cork. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Medical Officer (Grade 1503) to contribute to the provision of high-quality care for adults with intellectual disabilities.

About the Role
The Medical Officer will provide ongoing clinical oversight and medical care for service users within a community-based setting. This position supports the delivery of comprehensive health management in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver medical assessments, treatment, and follow-up care for service users.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care plans.
- Support the development and implementation of individual health management plans.
- Liaise with external healthcare providers, families, and community agencies.
- Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with HSE policy.
- Contribute to quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Essential
- Full registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC).
- Demonstrated clinical experience in community or disability services.
- Strong commitment to person-centred care.
Preferred
- Experience in adult intellectual disability or community-based medicine.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
