As an Associate Policy Support Specialist, you’ll be part of a dynamic global team dedicated to protecting users, creators, and the integrity of Spotify’s community standards.

About the Role

As part of the EMEA Policy Enforcement Operations team, you’ll handle day-to-day policy enforcement and moderation. You will support critical investigations, manage sensitive or high-tier escalations, and improve the efficiency of operational workflows. This hybrid role combines investigative insight with policy interpretation and operational problem-solving to enhance user safety across Spotify’s platform.

This position follows a Wednesday–Sunday schedule, including weekend coverage, and is based in Dublin, Ireland (2–3 days per week in-office).

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct objective and timely investigations into reported content to ensure compliance with Spotify’s policies and regional regulations.
  • Manage high-profile or urgent escalations, coordinating across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support crisis management for sensitive content and urgent moderation needs.
  • Provide enforcement guidance, training, and feedback to vendor and operations teams.
  • Identify risk patterns, monitor trends, and propose workflow or tooling improvements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Policy, Legal, and Engineering to drive process efficiency.
  • Present insights and data through clear, actionable reporting and visualizations.
  • Contribute to policy updates, ensuring operational practices align with regulatory frameworks.

Required Qualifications

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree (required).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Trust & Safety or content moderation operations, ideally on digital platforms.
  • Fluent in English and Turkish (both written and spoken).
  • Proven ability to resolve complex, urgent escalations effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and analytical ability.
  • Demonstrated understanding of online safety, free expression, and regulatory issues.
  • Highly adaptable with strong problem-solving and time-management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience using Salesforce, SQL, or AI-powered workflow tools.
  • Background in policy enforcement, investigations, or trust & safety strategy.
