Grade VIII Employment Monitoring & Reporting | HSE Kildare

About the Role

The Health Service Executive (HSE) is inviting applications for the position of Grade VIII, Employment Monitoring and Reporting (Ref: NRS15043) within the Strategic Workforce Planning and Intelligence Unit, part of the National Human Resources Division.
This is a permanent, whole-time, on-site position based at Oak House, Millennium Park, Naas, Co. Kildare, with additional team offices at Dr. Steevens’ Hospital, Dublin.

The post holder will play a key role in employment monitoring, data analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making across the HSE. The role contributes to maintaining transparency and accuracy in workforce data management and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee employment monitoring and workforce data reporting activities in line with HSE and Department of Health requirements.
  • Lead and manage a small team responsible for collating and analysing HR metrics.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance systems and processes to ensure data integrity.
  • Produce detailed reports and insights for senior HSE management.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with employment and HR reporting standards.
  • Contribute to strategic workforce planning initiatives through evidence-based reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant third-level qualification or equivalent in HR, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, or workforce planning within a large public or private organisation.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HRIS, and data visualisation tools is desirable.

Salary

€62,625 – €75,213 per annum (as per Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales, effective 1 August 2025; Long Service Increments apply as per HSE policy).
