The Health Service Executive (HSE) Mid West invites applications for the position of Multi-Task Attendant (Grade 6015) within the Acute and Older Persons Services. This permanent, whole-time role is based at Croom Orthopaedic Hospital, Co. Limerick, serving patients across Limerick, Clare, and North Tipperary. This opportunity is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide support in the care and comfort of patients, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Assist in the movement and transport of patients, equipment, and supplies as required.
• Perform general housekeeping, portering, and ancillary duties to maintain hospital standards.
• Support nursing and clinical teams in non-clinical tasks.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures at all times.
• Comply with all HSE health and safety and confidentiality policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Previous experience in a hospital, healthcare, or similar environment desirable.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
• Understanding of patient dignity, confidentiality, and infection control.
• Eligible to work in Ireland.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
The post is Permanent Wholetime, based on a 39-hour week.
Salary is aligned with HSE Consolidated Pay Scales (effective 1 August 2025) for Grade 6015 Multi-Task Attendant, starting at approximately €31,000 to €38,000 per annum, depending on experience and incremental credit.
