Atlantic Care is expanding its compassionate care team in Collooney, County Sligo. We are seeking dedicated Care Assistants to provide personal, emotional, and practical support to clients in their own homes. This role offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time contracts and excellent pay and benefits.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide personal care, companionship, homemaking, and dementia support.
• Deliver palliative and end-of-life care under the direction of Care Managers.
• Promote clients’ dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and families.
• Adhere to all Atlantic Care policies and uphold our professional standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• QQI Level 5 modules in Care Skills & Care of the Older Person (preferred).
• Healthcare qualification or experience in a care environment.
• Full driver’s licence and access to own vehicle (mileage and travel time paid).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and reliable approach to client support.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• €14.10–€20.70 per hour (premium rates for weekends and bank holidays).
