The Health Service Executive (HSE) is inviting applications for the position of Grade VIII Business Manager within the Chief Information Security Office (CISO), Technology and Transformation Division. This permanent, whole-time role offers an opportunity to play a central part in managing business operations, governance, and performance processes supporting the national cybersecurity framework within the Irish health sector.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day business and administrative operations within the CISO office.
• Support the implementation of cybersecurity and information governance policies across the HSE.
• Coordinate reporting, budgetary controls, and compliance with statutory and internal frameworks.
• Develop and oversee performance management systems and business continuity planning.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery of digital transformation objectives.
• Prepare and present reports, documentation, and submissions for senior management.
• Contribute to strategic planning and service delivery improvements across multiple HSE regions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• A minimum of three years’ experience in a management or senior administrative role in ICT, cybersecurity, or related disciplines.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance principles.
• Experience working within large public sector or healthcare environments is desirable.
• Relevant academic qualification in business management, ICT, or related area preferred.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Grade VIII (Code 0655) salary scale in accordance with the Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales (effective 1 August 2025).
• Starting point: €78,409 rising incrementally to €95,079 per annum.
• 35 hours per week, permanent wholetime position.
