The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking an experienced Electronic Health Record (EHR) Application Support Analyst to provide critical support and technical expertise for national EHR systems. This full-time specified purpose role is based at La Touche House, IFSC, Dublin, ensuring efficient delivery, maintenance, and user support of core digital health applications.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide first- and second-line support for EHR applications across HSE and partner organisations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical incidents within agreed SLAs.
• Assist in configuration, testing, and deployment of EHR modules and updates.
• Collaborate with clinical and ICT teams to identify workflow improvements.
• Maintain accurate system documentation, knowledge bases, and user guides.
• Contribute to EHR training and user engagement initiatives.
• Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure system performance and compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Relevant third-level qualification in IT, Health Informatics, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting enterprise or clinical IT systems.
• Strong understanding of EHR/EMR systems and healthcare data standards.
• Experience in SQL, data analysis, and troubleshooting application issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with HSE ICT standards and governance is advantageous.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Grade IV (0558) salary scale applies per HSE consolidated pay rates effective 1 August 2025.
• Full-time specified purpose contract.
• Public sector pension scheme and benefits in line with HSE employment terms.
• Standard working week of 35 hours, Monday to Friday.
