The Health Service Executive (HSE) is recruiting a Physiotherapist, Clinical Specialist (Women’s Health, Postnatal Hub) based at Letterkenny University Hospital. This permanent, whole-time post offers an opportunity to advance clinical practice in postnatal and women’s health physiotherapy within the HSE West and North West region.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and develop women’s health physiotherapy services, with a focus on postnatal rehabilitation.
• Provide advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for complex postnatal conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and service development.
• Support education, training, and mentoring of junior physiotherapists.
• Promote evidence-based practice and patient-centred care.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• CORU registration as a Physiotherapist.
• Minimum of five years’ post-qualification experience, with at least two in women’s health or related specialism.
• Proven leadership and clinical specialist experience.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Experience in postnatal rehabilitation and pelvic health desirable.

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Grade: Physiotherapist – Clinical Specialist (Code 3707)
Salary Scale (effective 1 August 2025): €68,035 – €80,504 per annum (as per HSE consolidated pay scales)
Contract Type: Permanent, Whole-time
