Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is recruiting a Social Care Worker (Grade 3029) to join its team in Cashel, Co. Tipperary. This permanent wholetime position supports individuals through high-quality social care within a professional and person-centred environment. Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality person-centred social care support
• Promote independence, wellbeing, safeguarding, and community inclusion
• Implement individual care plans and maintain accurate records
• Support multidisciplinary teamwork across Health & Social Care Professional services
• Engage with families, advocates, and external agencies as required
• Uphold best practice standards and organisational policies
• Contribute to service development and continuous improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Recognised qualification in social care or a related discipline
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities or complex needs
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and reporting skills
• Knowledge of safeguarding, HIQA standards, and person-centred planning
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Commitment to equality, dignity, and high-quality service delivery
