The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner Candidate for the CAMHS Eating Disorders service. This permanent, whole-time post offers an opportunity to deliver specialist mental health care across the Integrated Health Areas of Dublin North County and Dublin North City & West. Applicants from both HSE and non-HSE backgrounds are welcome. This campaign supports the development of high-quality, person-centred care for young people experiencing eating disorders.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver specialised assessment, treatment, and intervention within CAMHS Eating Disorders services
• Provide advanced clinical expertise and support to multidisciplinary teams
• Work collaboratively with families, carers, and community services
• Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and clinical governance
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to professional guidelines
• Participate in audit, research, and evidence-based practice activities
• Support the integration of care across Dublin North County and Dublin North City & West
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registered Nurse with eligibility for Advanced Nurse Practitioner Candidate (Mental Health) pathway
• Proven experience in mental health nursing, ideally with exposure to eating disorder services
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Knowledge of HSE structures, policies, and CAMHS service models
