The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Dietitian to join Community Services across the HSE West and North West region. This campaign will form a panel to fill current and future permanent and specified-purpose vacancies across primary care, health & wellbeing, mental health, disability and older persons services. Key Responsibilities
• Provide expert evidence-based dietetic assessments and interventions.
• Deliver high-quality clinical care across a range of community settings.
• Contribute to the planning and delivery of nutrition services within multidisciplinary teams.
• Support service development initiatives in line with HSE policies and standards.
• Participate in quality improvement, audit, and continuous professional development.
• Offer guidance, supervision, and support to junior staff and students where required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Recognised qualification in Dietetics and CORU registration.
• Demonstrated high level of clinical knowledge in nutrition and dietetics.
• Experience working within community or acute healthcare services.
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to provide patient-centred, evidence-based care.
• Full driving licence may be required for community service delivery.

• Salary: Senior Dietitian (Grade Code 3395) – HSE consolidated pay scale (effective 1 August 2025).
