The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking a Senior Radiographer (MRI) to join the imaging team at Wexford General Hospital. This permanent, whole-time position offers an opportunity to deliver high-quality MRI and general radiography services within a dynamic hospital environment in the HSE Dublin and South East region.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver a quality, patient-focused MRI and radiographic service in a professional and caring manner.
• Perform MRI, general radiography, fluoroscopy, CT, and other specialised imaging examinations in line with departmental protocols.
• Ensure all procedures meet high standards of technical quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Support the daily operational management of the radiology department.
• Contribute to service development and staff supervision as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or an equivalent qualification recognised by CORU.
• Current registration with CORU as a Radiographer.
• A minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience, including experience in MRI.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-working skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Grade: Radiographer, Senior (Code 3107).
• Salary Scale (effective 1 August 2025): €59,798 – €73,598 per annum (as per HSE Consolidated Salary Scales).
• Permanent, wholetime contract under public sector terms and conditions.
