Tusla – Child and Family Agency is seeking a Team Leader (Disability Services) to join its Roscommon service. This permanent, full-time role is suited to an experienced Social Care Worker ready to lead high-quality disability services within the community. This is an externally advertised position open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise Social Care Workers and support staff across Disability Services
• Oversee service delivery, ensuring compliance with Tusla policies and national standards
• Manage caseloads, assessments, and care planning for children and families
• Support the development of person-centred care practices
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and contribute to service audits
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and external partners
• Promote safeguarding, quality, and continuous improvement
• Assist in service planning and implementation of Tusla initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Relevant Social Care qualification (Social Care Worker Grade 3029 or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience in disability or social care services
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills
• Knowledge of legislation, standards, and best practice in disability services
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary settings
• Excellent organisational and caseload management abilities
• Commitment to person-centred and trauma-informed care approaches
