The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager 3 (Clinical Facilitator Palliative Care) to join the Specialist Palliative Care Service at North West Hospice, Sligo. This permanent wholetime post supports education, clinical facilitation, and excellence in palliative care. The role is based within the HSE West and North West region.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate clinical facilitation activities across palliative care services.
• Support education, professional development, and evidence-based practice.
• Deliver training programmes and facilitate clinical learning environments.
• Contribute to high-quality patient care through advanced clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with nursing, multidisciplinary teams, and hospice staff.
• Ensure adherence to HSE policies, guidelines, and service-wide standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registered Nurse with depth and breadth of experience in Palliative Care.
• Demonstrated teaching, training, and facilitation experience.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to deliver education presentations and support continuous learning.
• Commitment to high standards of patient-focused care.
