Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is seeking a motivated Clerical Officer to support administrative operations across Ennis and Shannon. This permanent wholetime post is advertised by the HSE on behalf of a Section 38 organisation, with terms that may differ from HSE contracts.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide frontline administrative and clerical support across service areas
• Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation
• Assist with correspondence, scheduling, and general office duties
• Operate internal IT and data systems in line with service protocols
• Support managers and teams within the Brothers of Charity Services Ireland network
• Liaise professionally with staff, service users, and external partners
• Ensure confidentiality, GDPR compliance, and high-quality customer service
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Previous clerical/administrative experience in a busy environment
• Strong IT literacy, including MS Office and data entry
• Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with health or social care settings is an advantage
• Commitment to high standards of confidentiality and record keeping

• Standard public sector salary scales apply
