The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking applications for the role of Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (Medicine Supplementary Panel) based in Limerick. This permanent wholetime position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care within the HSE Mid West region. Applicants from both HSE and non-HSE backgrounds are welcome.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead, coordinate and support nursing teams within the Medicine Directorate.
• Ensure delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred nursing care.
• Manage staff performance, supervision and development across relevant clinical areas.
• Oversee clinical governance, quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives.
• Support workforce planning, rostering and efficient resource allocation.
• Contribute to service planning and implementation of HSE policies and standards.
• Foster effective communication with multidisciplinary teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with NMBI.
• Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience.
• Demonstrated management or supervisory experience at CNM1 level or equivalent.
• Strong clinical leadership, decision-making and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement.

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Permanent, wholetime contract.
• Standard HSE CNM2 salary scale applies (Grade 2119).

• Working hours aligned with HSE Mid West rostering requirements.
