The Health Service Executive (HSE) is recruiting an experienced Grade VII Business Manager for the Health Sciences Academy at University Hospital Limerick. This permanent wholetime internal role offers a strong career progression pathway within HSE Mid West, supporting education, operations, and governance across the academy.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day business operations within the Health Sciences Academy
• Manage strategic planning, reporting, and performance improvement initiatives
• Coordinate governance, compliance, and administrative efficiency across services
• Support academic partnerships, training coordination, and workforce development programmes
• Lead staff within the assigned administrative functions and ensure high-quality service delivery
• Manage resources, budgeting inputs, and project implementation activities
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support operational objectives
• Contribute to organisational change, innovation, and process optimisation
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Eligibility as a current employee of the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agency, or statutory health agency
• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification (business, management, healthcare administration desirable)
• Strong leadership, communication, and operational management skills
• Demonstrated experience in service planning, workforce coordination, or administrative leadership
• Proven ability to analyse data, prepare reports, and manage competing priorities
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and organisational skills
• Knowledge of HSE structures, governance, and compliance requirements

Grade VII (0582) Salary Scale – effective 1 August 2025:
€60,013 – €61,479 – €63,192 – €64,911 – €66,636 – €68,176 – €69,745 – €71,272 – €72,788 – €75,397 – €78,015 (LSIs)
