Abbott Diagnostics is hiring a dynamic Sales Ambassador to support and grow key diagnostic accounts across the Republic of Ireland. This field-based role focuses on strategic customer management, technical support, and expanding product adoption across Abbott’s diagnostics portfolio.
Table of Contents
Key Responsibilities
• Manage full revenue responsibility for assigned diagnostic accounts
• Serve as the primary trusted advisor and customer contact
• Build and strengthen long-term customer partnerships
• Drive account development and post-sales implementation processes
• Support sales activity, new menu expansions, and product adoption
• Lead and deliver regular customer business reviews
• Handle contract renewals and negotiate long-term agreements
• Provide first-line technical service support (avg. completion 2 hours)
• Perform Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) and implement new assays
• Deliver customer training, coaching, and product guidance
• Oversee cross-functional post-sale implementation teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience within the diagnostics industry
• Proven success managing and expanding customer accounts
• Strong understanding of customer dynamics and healthcare stakeholders
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Demonstrated solution-selling ability
• Fluent in English; additional languages a plus
